After lunch, we went a tour of the Royal Mews where we saw the state coaches etc. (It was interesting to be able to walk right up to these magnificent coaches. It was said that the set of post cards I bought - and still have - were only on sale in the souvenir shop there.)

Afterwards we went along the Mall and saw the Victoria Memorial, Clarence House, St.James's Palace, Duke of York steps, Admiralty Arch and Trafalgar Square where we played with the pigeons
